WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose

Nitrocellulose is an excellent cellulose derivative and is also known as cellulose nitrate. WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose and WALSRODER™ NC-Chips are predominantly used as binders in printing inks and wood coatings, but also in a wide variety of other coatings applications. Dow offers various product forms and viscosities of nitrocellulose under the WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose brand. 

Dow offers WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose and WALSRODER™ NC-Chips in a wide range of Nitrocellulose grades.

  1. Free-flowing WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose damped with:
              isopropanol
              ethanol
  2.  WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose grades ranging from high to low viscosity damped with:
              ethanol
              isopropanol
              water
  3. WALSRODER™ NC-Chips with different grades of viscosity plasticised with phthalate-free plasticisers such as:
              epoxidised soybean oil (ESO)
              acetyltributyl citrate (ATBC)
