WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose

WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose Polymers are cellulose esters, derived from natural wood or cotton linters. To obtain WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose, a mixture of nitric acid, sulfuric acid and water is applied to a cellulose feedstock.

We continually adapt WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose to our customers’ evolving processes and applications. As a result, DuPont offers three different particle morphologies of WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose:

WALSRODER™ NC Standard Grades
WALSRODER™ NC Free-Flowing Grades
WALSRODER™ NC-Chips

DuPont has made significant investments to support our customers and provide free-flowing WALSRODER™ Nitrocellulose products.
